Have A Kit Kat

My parents had to travel north to Sydney for a gathering. I chose to go up and spend the week looking after my grandfather at their farm in Murchison, about two hours north of Melbourne.
With no internet and barely any cell phone coverage I enjoyed a week of proper work helping my grandfather out with his daily tasks. I must admit it has been a while since I put shears to a sheep or tended large crops. The exercise kicked my proverbial righteously lol. After the first day I couldn't walk properly the next morning O_o
With so much time to reflect on many different things and breathing the fresh country air I felt like the week was amazingly stress free. no hustle and bustle, no sirens, traffic jams, road rage, angry shoppers or disgruntled neighbours. Just the peace and calm of the country with only my thoughts, my grandfather and the odd phone call home to keep me company. It was great!
I am home now with a new energy. The time away refreshed my soul. Working with and helping my grandfather out was a joy. Physically I am wasted, hehe, but I feel better than ever. Seems a break every now and then does the soul good. And helping someone out makes it all worth more.
Lesson: Have a break, have a kit kat. lol. Take a break from it all. It's not as if life will disappear, we know it will still be there when we get home. But, a break certainly goes a long way to refreshing the soul and gathering your thoughts when they seem to be clouded.
Glad to be back to the 21st century lol. Missed my SP & FB friends and the convenience of the gym. Took a couple days to get over the internet withdrawal symptoms lol. But alls good here now.
Peace and love, kia kaha. Reuben.
