2lbs a week

I have come to realize that losing a little weight at a time is more realistic then trying to be all biggest loser style and drop 10lbs a week. For the longest time I thought that if I couldn't at least lose 5lbs a week I was a failure. I have recently had an epiphany that came to me one day while I was watching the biggest loser finale on Hulu. I looked at the end results of the contestants and some of them had lost a hundred pounds or more and I thought to myself wow they had a lot of dedication and also help to lose so much so quickly. I started thinking that I wanted to lose a hundred pounds but I also knew it would not happen quickly because I am living in the real world lol. So I figure with 52 weeks in a year I can aim for an easy goal of 2lbs a week weight loss. To me that number is realistic and attainable. I always aim to high and get really disappointed when I don't get the results I want. So I am coming at this with a completely new out look. I am looking forward to this challenge and meeting it head on. Good luck to every one this week.
