This is the title of a song I enjoyed during high school though I can say that after mid-night I can eat, alright. I just ate 1343 calories between 12 and 1 AM. Well, the top of my daily calorie range 1630 and so, this leaves 287 calories for the rest of the day.
It was a long day with Boy Scout Fair and Baseball, we arrived home and needed items from the grocery store so the 4.5 gallons of wild berries DW had picked could be packaged for refrigeration. To the market I go, get home, find I left two bags there and back again.
Okay, now the berries are being washed and packed and it starts. First a little chocolate milk; then a snack bar; another snack bar; trail mix; a bowl of cereal; left-over cheese tortellini; dog food; more trail mix and chips. I could stop, but why?
Okay, I did not eat dog food but the dog did guard the dish. I finally stopped. Was this a latent habit from 30 years ago?
Moral: Go to bed before mid-night or teach the dog to guard the pantry rather than her bowl.
