Rain and hail

Today we were expecting rain. When church was just getting over we received a down pour with hail added into it! I didn't have my rain coat or my umbrella. I decided I could wait it out or run to my car. I chose to run to my car. I was soaking wet by the time I got there!! Then by the time I got home the rain had already stopped. It has not rained the rest of the day. (I get out of church at 4 pm., so it was an afternoon storm.)

We also had a tornado warning today. Really unstable, humid air here in Billings. Actually it was forecast for most of Eastern Montana. I don't have cable, so not sure how much rain everyone received. There was also a flood warning. We don't usually see that much rain. I am used to drought conditions. But you know with El Nino things are just not the same as they used to be!!

I was very tired today and did not walk this morning. I hope it isn't raining when I get up as I would love to walk tomorrow. Guess I will see in the morning.

Maybe some of you are actually having some sunshine!! instead of the we are getting. I know in August we will be thankful for the rain as it gets really dry.
