It's been a while...

So since my last blog I have moved north and am working in the bush after 2.5 weeks of inside training here. I've gained some weight, I'm between 165-170 now most days. I'm exhausted after work, even though I'm only walking 2-3 km total through the bush every day. But I'm making myself go to the gym after work now. We have a little company gym we can use for free so I've just been doing that when I have energy. As of now it doesn't matter if I have energy or not, I'll be going after work. I'm trying to get up to 2 miles of jogging a day, but it's hard. Today I walked abotu 2 km in the bush total with a 20 pound vest on my back and heavy caulk boots and then jogged 1.6 miles and did upper body. I should have done abs and squats and lunges. I did 15 squats and my knees started to hurt so i stopped. I just didn't even attempt to do lunges or abs.
On the plus side, my job is great!! I don't know how to figure out how many calories I burn at work, but I'm now going to be eating around 1500- 1750 calories a day so hopefully that's low enough to lose weight with. Guess time will tell, we'll see what the scale says in the next two weeks.
