6/3/2013 Spark Coach Challenge for today
Monday, June 03, 2013
I have not done the Spark Coach challenge today. I have been running errands most of the day. I also got a hair cut. Love it! I did some visiting while I was in that part of town. I have many friends in the heights area of Billings. I don't get to see them much, so I made my rounds today and visited 5 families. The challenge today is to do 50 push ups or modified push ups. I will try to do some tonight, but I don't know if I will be able to do many with my knees. I think that modification would be the only push up I could do.

My shoulders are not strong enough to do a regular push up and I think it would be too hard on my arthritis/spurs in my t-spine. Not making excuses...just a fact. I am hurting today, because it is wet and cold. Achy all day and I got 8 hours of sleep. Usually when I get that much sleep I don't hurt.
I also went to the hospital to visit my friend Gladys. She was in a rehab unit and got pneumonia. I only stayed a few minutes as she needed a nap. I will go back and see her. I think she will be there a few more days or even longer than that. Poor lady! She is 81 and so sweet! The first rehab she went to didn't help her to the bathroom and she fell and broke her arm. It was so high on her arm that they couldn't cast it. So she is in a sling. Her other arm is sore from getting poked for IV antibiotics and fluids. I am so happy I got up to see her and I plan to go again tomorrow!
Snickers was sick a few days ago. Now he is refusing to eat much of his dry food. I put him on weight control food as he has been gaining weight. He is a big cat, but I don't want an obese animal that will have health risks. He has been eating wet food and a few treats. I think his tummy is better. Sometimes he eats way to fast sometimes and then can't keep it down. It isn't even digested. Looks almost the same as when he ate it. (Sorry. Don't mean to be gross or give you TMI!)
To my buddy Yvonne...

Have a great evening and remember...it is what you make it, so make it great!!
