Yesterday I blogged about putting together a workout plan using what I have available. I am determined to push myself and get healthy. I had a schedule set for the next couple of weeks but my husband brought me a surprise yesterday. He had been doing Insanity for the past couple of weeks with another coach at work. Yesterday, the coach uploaded the 60 day Insanity program that he has onto an external hard drive for my husband to bring home to me! I have all of the videos, the schedule and the nutrition plan. I just do not have the fitness test.
We decided to get started this morning and all night I was so nervous about working out with him. Is that crazy or what? I mean, we will have been married for 17 years on Saturday. He has watched me gain this weight over the years and is so supportive of me losing it. Besides, it is not like he is in the best shape. He is 6 foot 2 and weighs about 330 pounds. He does exercise fairly regularly and lifts weights so he is pretty strong, but he has a pretty big belly and likes to eat as much as I do. I was just worried about him watching all of my fat jiggle as I struggled to do what came easy for him. Well guess what? He had as much trouble as I did! We both struggled through it and some of the exercises I did better than him! Neither of us were able to keep up with the end and in total did about 35 minutes of the 45 minute workout. For the first time ever, I went into total muscle fatigue! By the time we began stretching (and then my computer died so tomorrow I have to drag the cord over), my legs and arms were shaking so bad and felt like they weighed 500 pounds. I had to sit down before I could go and start my coffe and get in the shower because I felt like I couldn't move. I know I am going to feel this later.
Right now I feel amazing. I worked so hard this morning and gave it my all. According to SparkPeople, I burned over 500 calories! I had a healthy breakfast and have packed a healthy lunch. Now I am going to fill my reusable water bottle and grab several disposable bottles (which I pour into my reusable bottle so I can refill them when I get home) and get to work. It's going to be a great day!
