It's Friday! I have had a good week and feel great. I am really looking forward to the weekend. Tomorrow is my 17th wedding anniversary! My husband and I are going to dinner and a movie without the kids. We haven't been on a date since Christmas vacation. Sunday, after church, we are planning to have a family game day. I love spending quality time with my family!
Tonight is going to be a struggle but I am determined to do well. My daughter is having friends over and she has requested pizza, wings and my homemade peanut butter chip brownies. My husband also got donuts for breakfast since we will have a house full of teenage girls. Did I say struggle? What I meant was a nightmare in a candy wrapper!
I adjusted my calories and added Pizza Hut veggie pizza for dinner. I will not have wings. I also have a little room for a very small piece of brownie. I will be at my limit but not over today. I had him get me some yogurt so I can have my normal breakfast tomorrow and I will try very hard not to be tempted to eat a donut. Tomorrow I plan to be very careful with my calories during the day and splurge with dinner. I may go over my calories tomorrow, but I will still make good choices tomorrow evening. We plan to go to Red Lobster, so I can have some fish and veggies but have to be careful with the cheddar biscuits.
I have a plan of attack for this difficult few days. I will make good decisions and keep my goals in mind when I am tempted.
