It's been a while - AGAIN!

Monday, June 17, 2013

I have been working out hard for the last several months. My eating has not been great, but I am working on it.

I have been working out with a personal trainer - the best one I have ever had. You know you get those trainers, they are good and nice, but don't seem to push you as hard as they need too. Well, that is not Will, he is tough. He is an MMA fight instructor and trains most of the Gold's Gym trainers in our area. His nickname is "The Reaper". He does not train at a Gold's Gym or a 24 hour fitness, he runs a real fight gym and it STINKS, I mean literally PU! All you smell when you walk in in the mornings is the stench of the sweat from the work outs the night before!!! They do not turn on the air - it stays about 86 degrees in there - YUK!!! I have never sweat so much in my life.

This is Will:

Pretty scary looking, but he is great. He doesn't yell or cuss at you. He is so encouraging. You get to where you think you can not do another thing and he really inspires you to finish it out and finish it out strong. I have not lost a lot of weight at this point, but I feel so much stronger and I am really firming up in places - yippee! I also go to his gym at night to do kickboxing - the real stuff, not the cardio - it is tough.

It's been great because my 2 sisters and my mom are training with Will as well. My one sister and mom meet him at 5:30 in the morning and my other sister and myself meet him at 6:30. My sister, niece, nephew and myself do the kickboxing 2-3 times a week at night and now my brother wants to get involved - so it's become a family affair and everyone supports the other. It's a very exciting time for us all.

Everyone feels so much better about themselves and stronger, it's a process and it will take time, but it's good to be on that journey with loved ones who support you and are enjoying the ride "most of the time" with you :)

Be Blessed,
