I met with my boss yesterday afternoon for my annual performance evaluation. I've reported to this individual for 2 years (she's newer to our organization) but I've worked for the same employer for 20 years. In her summary comments, she described me as "exemplary."

That's my goal when it comes to my efforts with regard to healthy living. I would like to know in my heart that I'm doing all that I can do to take care of myself and in the process be able to help others.

I have so many fine examples here at SP. I have some of the most motivating, knowledgeable, kind hearted and caring friends.

Thank you for helping me to become better!

It's a wonderful thing, I think, when others see us for what we are "exemplary"! But - at least for me - I think what matters most is that we see ourselves that way. First and foremost. I have spent many years of my life beating up on myself - telling myself, "I'm not good enough - or I'm no good". Finally, I am learning that I am good enough. I am good. I am "exemplary". Thanks for the reminder! Much continued success to you on your journey. Oh, and I sooooooo agree - the SP members are the best! emoticon
