Getting back into the swing of exercising

Friday, June 28, 2013

My sister was over from Ireland for a week or so and my eating plan got a little sidetracked but not too bad.

Starting yesterday I got up at 6:30 and headed to the track for 1.5hrs of walking/jogging before my first lesson at 9am. I did this again today and I'm hoping to keep it up at least for the two mornings a week that my morning lessons are at a convenient time.

It's really too hot to do anything in the early afternoon so at about 6:30 I'm taking the kids swimming at a nearby beach. I'm hoping that I can get up early again tomorrow morning and either go walking/jogging in my neighbourhood or go cycling.

Hope everyone else is doing well :) Have a nice weekend xxx

I'm trying to add more exercise in too. Not easy in this heat.

Wow! An hour and a half is so impressively ambitious, Elen. Good for you! I can imagine how hot it gets there. It's been pretty gross here, but I'm still riding when it's not pouring rain. I did great at getting up at 5:30 to do more before work for two whole weeks! Then all this week something got in the way and/or I was sooooooo tired. But I plan to get back at it asap. You may nag me! emoticon

I hope you enjoyed your visit with your sister!

Good on you Eleni. I hope the swim was nice
and cooling for you all. You are on a good plan.
You can do this. I, too, have been sidetracked
with my eating on my holiday. Now I have the flu
and can't breathe or do any exercise. I am glad it's
our winter break. Just do it, you can do
    this. emoticon

You can do it! At least 10 minutes per day, keep plugging on!
