Non-health related quick question for you...

Friday, August 09, 2013

Okay sparkfriends, I have an interesting question for you...

What was the strangest/most unexpected thing you were asked in an interview, and how did you respond?

A few years ago I was being interviewed for a human services job, and the first question--- right off the bat, was...

What would you do if you walked into a house and found a dead baby?

I remember just sitting there, shocked...and giving her a "are you kidding me?!" look.

I also knew right then and there the interview was OVER, and that i wasn't interested in the job, Guess she picked this question for a reason!

Argh, that was strange and your response was right.

    GROSS ALERT!

I interviewed someone for a job in my lab. When I asked him a question about his attention to detail and getting it right the first time I got a shocker.
His job was to cut cadaver bones into precise dimensions for transplantation and repair such as spine fusions. He proudly stated that he knew his co-workers we cutting them incorrectly and when they went to break he would re-cut their products so they would have good products. I asked him what happens when he wasn't there and he gave me a blank stare!

I hope I never need a spinal fusion!

I have been in social services for 13 years, and I have NEVER been asked a question like that!

Wow, I remember ANYTHING with your story in my mind! Certainly anything I've ever been asked was nothing compared to that!

    Yikes!
