3 week challenge -Day 2 & 3

Yesterday flew by and I didn't get a chance to blog about my evening shake - so here it is.
Small frozen banana - chocolate protein powder - 2T instant sugar free cheesecake pudding powder - ice cubes - about 2 oz chobani plain yogurt, water to make it a milk shake consistency. This one was totally good! On the keeper list. I had to toss the rest of the Chobani Banana yogurt that I had with my breakfast shake, it was way too sweet for me. If I would have read the ingredients before buying I never would have purchased it. 18 grams of sugar per 6 oz serving. Did a 3 mile walk with DH after dinner. Slower than I would have liked but halfway into the walk I got really nauseous, that's never happened.
BUT when I got home - my several trips to the bathroom revealed why I may not have been feeling up to par...My eating healthier - shakes, fruit, veggies for snacks has thrown my system into cleansing mode -- if you know what I mean ---
Today I'm feeling great -
Morning shake was 1/2 frozen banana; chocolate protein powder; chocolate instant pudding powder-sugar free; 1 T natural peanut butter; ice cubes; 1/2 c water. This one is my favorite so far. Really chocolaty. And I could bathe in peanut butter, so anything with PB in it is a winner with me. I'm going to have the same for dinner.
Got on the scale this morning to check my progress - down 2 lbs which is great. Now I'm not going to weigh in until the end of my 3 weeks. I'm still getting in my 60 oz of water every day. Sticking with 1 cup of coffee in the morning and CLOSING the kitchen at 7pm at night. My daughter is coming from GA for a visit tonight which will be really nice and she is really watching her eating habits so it won't be hard to stick with the program. My DS moved home for his last semester at school and I've made his lunch the last 2 days (same salad my DH and I have) he's ranting and raving at now nice a home cooked lunch at work tastes and wants to pack his lunch for school. Hoping this keeps him out of the fast food restaurants.
My knees are really tight today from my walk last night so I will ease into more walking activity. I tend to overdo it when my knees are feeling good and then I have a 3 day set back. I'll take tonight off - do housework, laundry, up and down stairs and then do my walk again tomorrow night. At the end of my 3 week experiment, September goals will be ramped up with walking more often, lots of strength training to try to get my arms and hamstrings tightened up (which will help my knees). DH and I are going start back at the gym in September. I miss the stationery bike and he misses the swimming.
That's all for now. Get out there and enjoy your day! Rain or shine!
Peace my friends!
