Well despite my lack of merriment to get back into exercising I signed up for a 6 week two times a week exercise class bootcamp, which starts September 9th. I'm hoping this will give me a boost to get moving again. The name of the bootcamp says it all "Drop It Like A Squat Bootcamp".....yep sounds painful, but I'm going to try it.

Sounds like it gonna hurt! You know, yesterday I was out all morning and came home, ate lunch, tended to pottery customers then I was going to work out. I felt tired and I didn't want to then I talked myself into it by telling myself, "It doesn't have to be a 'balls to the wall' work out, ya know!" So I went swimming for 20 mins then did a stretchy yoga routine. I didn't burn many calories, but I did burn some and they all count. 2752 days ago

I always find it's good to sign up for something - that makes my committment official, and it makes me go. Yes, you'll probably be hurting a bit at first, but in a good way. If it doesnt' start until Sept 9th, this gives you time to do a little something cardio or whatever on a drop in basis a few times perhaps to get you started so it's not such a shock to the system... Glad you're serious about your commitment. You can do this!!! 2754 days ago

I don't think its a squat challenge per say, although there probably are a lot of squats involved as per the name. I believe that its a variety torture....I mean exercises. Jo, its being held in Keswick Ridge. 2754 days ago

Oh man! My knees just creaked at the sound of that one! LOL
Where is it held?
I had to stop doing the squats challenge because my hamstrings, glutes and knee muscles were cramping up too much -- I'm guessing I wasn't warmed up enough for too many sessions. 2754 days ago

Good luck, I did a 30 day squat challenge a month ago and WOW some days were harder than others. And I did feel it! 2754 days ago
