Trying for Half this Time

My therapist once told me to make all my plans in the way that seemed normal to me, and then cut every one of them in half. He said I habitually expected double from myself what I should. So I am cutting my original 70 lb weight loss goal to 35. That feels much better to me! I think I may actually be able to do that! 35 lbs by next summer---sounds do-able!

Well, here we go again! A little easier this time!

    Great blog! I set my goal for 40 lbs. by next year and can always change it when I get there. When I was helping my friend join SP, I told her to do that too. I have small goals in my head for myself (that dress, those jeans, 10 minutes more, etc.) emoticon

    I like smaller goals and when met I just make the next small goal. Good luck! emoticon
