So disappointed...

Friday, October 04, 2013

Here I am after being away for a while. Well, I wasn't really away because I've been using the mobile app to track my fitness, weight and water. But I haven't been tracking my food and it shows because I have lost NO weight this year. None...

But that's not even why I'm so disappointed. No, I'm disappointed because I had set a goal of doing 14000 fitness minutes this year, and I just realized I'm nowhere even close to that! Now don't get me wrong, the mobile app is great, but I can't see the total yearly fitness minutes to date, and I really, really thought I was doing well in terms of exercising.
There is a possibility that I may have forgotten to enter some minutes at times because I've been so busy, but even if that's the case, I'm still very far away from reaching my goal.

What a disappointment! I do exercise! I now have a fixed work day schedule, no more working night shift, and I wake up at 5am to go running. I walk quite a bit to get to work, I still garden... I don't understand why my fitness minutes are so low for this year!!

Bummer... emoticon

I was curious today and figured I should take a few minutes to log on to the real SP and see what's going on, not just with my fitness minutes but with the other sparkers. I see many of my friends are still around which is awesome. But I am so disappointed, in myself and in my fitness minutes count...

Well, I realize now that that the mobile app is good, but it is limited and it sure does not replace the motivational aspect and all the amazing features of the full website.

Something to learn from and keep in mind.

2 years ago I started a trend, a daily accountability blog which I ran successfully for 144 consecutive days. I had started it before Christmas so I wouldn't reach the Holiday period with more weight than I already had on my body. I should probably do that again this year... Maybe that's what I need to get back on track. I also started going to church recently, and I have no doubt that prayer can help me stay focused and on track.

Things to reflect on... emoticon

I'll be back with a plan... something needs to be done and I'm the only one that make it happen!

I think the mobile app. lacks a lot when it comes to the fitness tracker. I never use it but go to the regular online tracker. On the other hand the mobile food tracker works great. Who knows!

I loved reading your daily accountability blogs. It would be great to see something like that again. No matter, it's great to see you back.
