Thurs. Day 3

Thursday, October 17, 2013

I began feeling more myself yesterday. I had a great time with a bunch of great kids. I got home about 7:50pm, take off my shoes...smell the wonderful aroma of dinner being re-heated for me...then BEEEEEPPPPP BEEEEPPP, my pager goes off. Motor Vehicle accident, with injuries. Ah well, that is all part of the job. emoticon
When I bent to my patient, I felt a few muscles scream in protest as I squatted! It was all I could do to not collapse on the shoulder and grab my bum and start pressing out the cramp. I figured this is my body saying thanks for shaking things up a bit.
I walked over 10000 steps, yesterday too. Without the fit....by the time I got back from town and a battery run, I had a ton of work waiting for me. I have a bunch waiting for me today, so this is going to end so I can do the 10 minute cardio/kickboxing and then day 3 of new YOU BC. I have class tonight, with possible practical exams... Nervous! NYS changed things for the EMS world, I do not have a lot of different calls...so I am really rusty on some things! At least last night I had a trauma patient, so I got to do my skills there.
The patient is fine, btw.... Just mad at the deer she decided needed living, and trashed her car for....

I think I am going to pack away my books, and show my husband that I can make room.... And maybe we will talk about a treadmill. We live is VERY small house, about 1100 sqft, with 5 of us...so not much room for us, let alone toys, and homework, and music and dance and everything life.
We shall see.

Have a wonderful fall, thirsty Thursday
