Friday, November 29, 2013

Well financial woes and stress because i cant go out of the house has caused restlessness. There are things i want to get done and im in the house for the day. Im avoiding the black fridaychaos. I live in a congested area and i do not want to drive in this. So...my son bought chips before tthanksgiving and i found and ingested them and devoured them. Not to mention i ate some small brownies leftover. I . Need help and support. Ive been doing really well but because im imperfect i feel like quitting altogether. This is not a winning attitude but here i am. What to do now.

Don't give up! We are all imperfect and make mistakes. Just determine to do one or two things every day to move you toward your goal. When I first started, I had a really hard time exercising because of pain, so I just did short work-outs as I could. Now I'm working out every day and it's not so much of a struggle. Start where you are and take those small steps forward and be proud of yourself as you accomplish each one! emoticon emoticon

Hang on!! You don't have to get back up if you don't fall. Just stay the course, think thin and keep going. You have so much support here! I'm rooting for you to win!!

Look at the steps that you have taken forward. Don't beat yourself up over the chips -- all of us have days like this!

This journey is not a race. It's a slow, one-step-at-a-time path. Pick a goal to work on for the next few weeks. After you meet that goal consistently, add another one.

You CAN do this! I'm cheering for you!

I've really been struggling and eating all the wrong things lately so I truly understand what you are saying. I've been in a lot of physical pain lately and I know I eat out of frustration and as a way to ignore the pain. I need to stop and think about what I'm doing to myself, just like you do.
Think of a way you can get into a better mindset. I often put music on - loud - and walk (slowly and painfully) around my apartment (from room to room) for 10 or 15 minutes. That helps me.
