"In the beginning was the Word,and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."

The Incarnation is an utter miracle. Scripture tells us that the impossible is possible, that a little baby can also be the Creator of the world. This miracle boggles our limited minds, but John assures us that God has made the impossible possible.

I wasn't sure what incarnation meant. So I looked it up: simply put , it means "God came to be man". He was fully man while remaining fully God.The Incarnation fulfills God's purpose, as Christ the Creator submitted to the Father in His manifestation into humanity, becoming Fully
God and Fully Human, to become and serve humanity, this was His ultimate triumph. He is Holy as the "incarnate Son", remained loyal and obedient to His own precepts and the challenge of sin and worldliness.

When you read this and think on it, it really does boggle the mind!

    Thanks Peggy. These old yet ever new verses thrill the soul of all believers...just think - that 'the Word' was and is God! Jesus! How precious He is to me and to every child of God. I am enjoying reading your blogs tonight. emoticon

    It is amazing isn't it! But I think that God isn't in human form in heaven, just saying. eva emoticon
    What should be mentioned also is that miracles happen today, yet we don't always talk about them, like we do with others from the bible.
    so many people who are lost, & don't believe. before in the 60's, people were afraid because they didn't understand God. His words to us had a lot of latin, Now, God is portrayed as a gentle father who always forgives. so people keep walking away, or sinning, and feeling like constant weekly forgiveness's ok, cause you just confess. It discredits God's authority over us. Or they practice their belief as if it were a Sunday tradition, and going to a church with ritualistic traditions just confirms people's lack of knowledge about understanding that God still lives. He lives in us. Developing a relationship is reading what he wants from us, how he wants to help us survive stress, and doing his commission till we go to him. The word seems to only comfort those that only believe already! I have tried saying the word & those that I poured out the love of Jesus still went on to be alcoholics, or adulteresses, or abuser's, or selfish, or unethical. They acclimated from the lost butterfly into their role models of abuse, or who ever put their spirit on this path. My words fell on deaf ears, and this scared me into realizing that nothing I could do or say could save someone. They have to want it themselves, or God has to whisper in their ears, like he did mine. And I finally though instead of putting him away in my private stop, that I finally admitted my need for his guidance, although I already though with my talks That I knew him, I have since realized that the word opened up a new AREA TO GET TO KNOW gOD. aND GOT RE-BAPTISED INTO A STRONGER SPIRIT IN CHRIST.     Thanks for sharing. This is a passage that i had to memorize for a youth musical many years ago, and still holds great meaning for me.
