I decided to try the focus T25 for something different.

I did the first workout yesterday and the second today. I think I was exhausted in less than one minute. Never have I felt so unfit. The sweat was pouring off me. I did keep moving even though I was barely walking in place at times. Not sure if I enjoy it (I think maybe not lol) but it does feel like a good workout, lots of cardio with some squatting and other body-weight resistance.

On the down side, I find it hard to believe that my 25 minute sweat-fest (aka high-impact aerobics) burns less than 200 calories. Not enough to burn off 1 mince pie. emoticon

I have eaten less and exercised more this xmas than any other I can remember. It's been SO difficult to leave the tempting goodies alone. (shame i couldn't leave the alcohol alone too) I hope my body appreciates it. Going to try very hard in the next couple of days to stay in calorie range and it would be so great to see a LOSS on the scale when I weigh in at the New Year. emoticon

    Cardio exercise is great - but strength training along with cardio burns more calories and overall is probably more beneficial. Bodybuilding.com has some great articles worth reading. emoticon Earl
