Motivational Picture of the Day

Wednesday, January 08, 2014

AMEN! I have my clients starting a 30 day Challenge today. It revolves around eating healthier and cleanier as well as getting back into the habit of exercise which over the holidays sometimes goes to the way side.

Day 3 for me for nothing other than CLEAN EATS. Many of my clients complain about eating clean taking so much time. I've been posting pictures of meals on my business Facebook page, and this week's theme is that clean eating REALLY doesn't take any longer than sitting at a drive through waiting for some crappy kinda resembles food being delivered. It does take planning and hitting the grocery store so these foods are on hand, but you would do that ANYWAY each week, so why not get the foods that are going to help you rather than hurt you in the long run.

Part of the 30 day Challenge also is getting everyone back on the established workout track...something that can get left out of our busy holiday plans. Today was low state cardio for me. I"m fighting a head cold, so I don't want to make anything worse by over exhausting myself. Once I'm 100%, it's hitting my workouts hard and heavy.

Hope everyone is having a GREAT day!

It does take me a while to make my dinner salad, usually at least a pound of produce. Tonight, I was in such a hurry, I almost cut my finger off.

Note to self: If you hurry so much that you cut yourself, have to bandage the finger carefully, and clean up all the blood, how does that make any of it faster? emoticon

But, minus the cut which doesn't hurt, it was delicious!

    Keep leading the way!

The reason eating clean seems to take so much time is because, like you said, these people aren't used to grabbing healthy foods at the grocery store, so if they suddenly "get the urge" to make something healthy, they usually have to make a special trip to the grocery store to buy all the ingredients!

I wish them all so much success! Congrats for helping them make better choices now and a in turn a better future for themselves!
