Progress in 2013--Goals for 2014
Since becoming a member in May, my life has changed so much. I have taken better care of myself, not only in eating and exercise, but in my personal life as well. SP and the friends I have made have given me: an awareness of happiness, and how important it is to be able to keep that happiness in my life. I now believe I am worthy of this after believing I wasn't for a huge part of my life. I have learned to love myself, and to be able to stand up for myself, and truly believe in myself. And I give a big thanks to a lot of wonderful friends who have helped me along the way. It has taken a lot of work, time, and energy to be able to accomplish this, and I still think its going to take more work, but one day at a time. That alone is a goal for 2014, along with healthy eating, exercise, and being able to lose 5-7 pounds. Being able to spend more time with my Mom is my number one goal, as I do not know how much time she has. Since she had her stroke, she has become much, much weaker, and struggles with things compared to a few months ago. So I will treasure each and every moment I am able to spend with her.
