Week 2 of 12 Week Challenge

My plan is to try to lose 10% of my weight in 12 weeks. That averages out to about 1.4 pounds per week of weigh loss.

Here are my results for week 2:

Weigh in:
1/8 172.8
1/15 169.6 (-3.2)
My goal was 170.6 to stay on track for my 10% in 12 weeks goal and I am happy to report that I made my goal. emoticon

My exercise:
did a plank every day (388)


Bottom line: It was a week of ups and downs on the scale. I did stick to my plan of doing a plank everyday, and I have not had soda. Having my small weight goal in front of me really worked to motivate me. I have a journal where I post my weight every day, but I have my goal for the week written at the top. I had a clear direction and although the path had twists and turns, I am happy about where I ended. I will strive for more consistency this week.

My weight goal for next week:168.2 ( my goal for 3 weeks is 169.2, but I am stretching by pushing for my required average 1.4 pounds to push me ahead on my goal...that would give me a cushion for the harder weeks.)
