Honestly, is it the weekend yet?

It has been such a long week! I'm exhausted and the fact that I pulled a muscle trying to walk a 51# dog doesn't help! No strength training for me. I even decided I can take a day off of walking today if I don't have the energy. And I don't think i do! My main goals are to get the kids everywhere they need to be (schools, tutors, lessons, boy scouts), do dishes, take a shower. Those are awesome goals lol

I have a few hours to myself today to veg out and watch a few more episodes of The Tudors. Man do I love that show! I'm going to have leftovers from last night: red quinoa, stir fry veggies in a peanut sauce. So good. And about 350 cal going by my tracker. I didn't use much pb.

CLEARPATH11 asked me an interesting question today that I'd pose to you all. What is keeping you motivated this week?

    Hi ZaeMom! Glad to see you on SparkPeople still. I knew you would stick with it from all of your fun posts in the Dec 1-7 group, though.

    My motivation for the week has been trying new things. New foods and exercise videos but mostly just feeling like I have the ability to make things happen and get out of that victim mode of feeling helpless.

    I hope your pulled muscle heal quickly!

    Love quinoa. What's motivating me this week? A dr appointment on Monday and a trip in March when I need to fit better into my clothes; also a big birthday in April--I really want to weigh 20 lbs less.

    Hang in there; the weekend IS coming! Take care of that pulled muscle and rest if you need to.
