My goals for the 12 weeks are to:
1. Get back to the Gym - my aim is to go at least 1 a week to start and to work up to at least 3 times etc. I am just getting over a sprained wrist and now going to PT for my shoulder which was also injured. I don't want to push myself too hard too fast. Plus I have to get clearance from my OT (wrist) before I use the gym equipment. My PT (shoulder) told me which exercises I can do and that I can use weights and machines as long as my OT is fine with it. Will find out Thursday.
2. Eat more fruits and veggies: I usually eat a banana for breakfast, an apple for snack and then have a salad which consists of lettuce, carrots, celery, radishes and sometimes cabbage, peppers, cucumbers. I have a problem with this on the weekend. I usually don't eat my salad, fruits on the weekend. I tend to get lazy and eat easy stuff.
3. Do my PT and OT exercises daily so that my wrist and shoulder get better. Right now I only have OT for my wrist but Monday will start with some shoulder moves. Just started with my PT today.
4. I plan do lose 10 lbs this round!! I will do this by increasing my cardio and do the ST that is approved by my therapists. Plus eating healthy and doing my PT.
