Day 6 of 7!

Today's the last day before I reach my first mini goal! Can't help but wonder if the scale will agree to my week of exercising 5 times, Staying under 1500 calories all week and getting in my water?!
I sure hope the scale can show me a -1lb tomorrow morning.
But I have to prepare myself for the worst. The scale doesn't have to agree or reflect my efforts. It doesn't make my win any less. Because regardless what the scale says tomorrow, I gave my self a goal, I stuck to it and that's a win all on it's own. I will decide on a new goal tomorrow and make another mini challenge for myself. Can't wait to see the results on the scale though..
In today's reading, it mostly talked about the importance of eating breakfast and not skipping meals. Which I'm already not doing. I eat a healthy breakfast every morning and I don't skip any meals :)
Everything I have to eat until Saturday is ready in portions and put away.. This is my favorite part of the diet so far. It takes the guess work out of calculating on a daily basis or wondering what I have to cook. I don't feel bad about eating something different then what the kids are having, because I make a big batch and we all have the same dinner once and then the left overs become mine and I cook my family a fresh meal each night for the rest of the week where I don't have to calculate the calories to :) I don't mind eating the same thing for a couple days in a row. So long as it's making it easier on me.. otherwise trying to calculate the calories in each recipe each night is just annoying and feels like a hassle after a while..
Maybe it'll be easier after I build up my recipe base...
