“Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some stay for a while, leave footprints on our hearts, and we are never, ever the same”
― Flavia Weedn
15 Years ago today, the world lost someone of great importance to me. David was my only brother.
Not a day goes by that I don't think of him or miss him or see him somehow in my children. He was kind, generous, goofy, silly, intelligent and loyal.
I am so grateful he was MY BIG BROTHER, and that I was his sister.
Please feel free to leave a message or a flower at his virtual memorial:
"Beginning in the primeval days of childhood, even before language develops, the ties between brothers and sisters often stretch far into old age, enduring longer than any other attachment we have. Parents die, friends drift away, marriages dissolve. But brothers and sisters cannot be divorced: even if they do not speak to each other for 20 years, they remain forever connected by blood and history."
