Easy Gratitude! Day 9

Last night I fell on the ice...can I just say...HOLY MOTHER OF PEARL!!!!! Ok, so THAT'S not was I was saying at the time...

For a few moments I actually thought I might have broken something....

Once I pulled myself up off the frozen ground, dusted myself off, and stopped cussing, it occurred to me that it would probably hurt WAY more in the morning!

When I got up this morning, I was stiff, for sure...I felt aged by 10 years! I got ready for work, having to be careful of the arm....

It still hurts like stink...it is warm to the touch, but it doesn't seem broken...and THAT my friends is what I am most grateful for today....

To not be brittle and snap!!!!

Yay to me for staying in one piece...it still hurts like a son of a gun....but it's not broken!!!

Woohoo!!!

    Oh My! So sorry to hear that you fell. The worst day will be the first, hopefully it will feel better soon. Don't hesitate to see a doc if it doesn't seem to improve. A while back I fell too, while fishing on some treacherous rocks by the riverside, and kind of stiff armed it. Unfortunately, it developed into frozen shoulder which took a long time and concentrated physical therapy to get over and resume normal function. That's doable though so if it goes that far just keep working it. Feel better soon! By the way, isn't this a perfectly good opportunity to milk it a bit...please could you get that for me....LOL just saying emoticon I liked your Holy Mother of Pearl line, I hadn't heard that one yet.

    Soory to hear of the fall, but it is good you didn't break anything. Stay strong and keep moving, that is the best thing.

    Glad you broke no bones have you tried soaking in the tub ,warm water with epsom salts,they are great for easing aches and pains...
