It's been awhile...three years or so since I have done any writing within my SP blog. I'm pushing myself to begin again, to believe and trust in momentum and connecting the dots.
My diabetes and overall health have gotten worse not better and my lack of clean healthy eating and exercise have brought to another bottom...but within all of this, I am bringing all of previous experience - success & failures to each day and starting over. One pound, one day at a time.
So yesterday I ate clean, healthy and worked out. Today has started out well, ate a little protein...did my workout which consists of walking intervals, sets of squats and side step intervals with dumbells. I'm just getting back to it...so it might not sound very heavy duty, but it's a huge improvement and folding in small, practical changes that keep me safe and successfully consistent is how I have achieved success in the past.
I'm going to be doing my very best to tune out the negative voices inside and outside of me and just keeping it moving slow and steady, working hard to build my strength, endurance and gain back more and more mobility.
I'm not giving up!
