Thursday, a day of ancestral gratitude....

Thursday, March 06, 2014

I have really been dabbling in genealogy for about a year or so now...I come up against a LOT of brick walls, but today I found a gold mine....and a wonderful distant relative that is excited to help me fill in my blanks, as much as she can...

no conditions...She is a rare find, I tell you...anyone who has done genealogy research will know this, people don't like to share their work, or 'give it up'.

A concept I truly don't understand, but hey that's just me...well actually...it's not JUST me, I have a wonderful 3rd cousin, once removed that feels the same!!

I am grateful to have met Sidnie!

That is so much fun! I am sure that the Rea's in town are related to us. DH and I both have Rea's on our sides of the family so we joke we are kissin' cousins. emoticon for this treasure who is so generous!
