Days 7-11 of Half Ironman training

516 days till the Half Ironman 2015. That seems so far!

So on Day 7 the Rain and wind came down! My daughter, whom is 13 months, wanted extra morning cuddle time, so extra cuddle time trumped biking to work. Since I was driving anyway, I did some errands and deciced just to walk the long way to pick the kids up from school. Finished the night with some weight training and a good night's sleep!

Day 8, was an early birthday celebration for myself. I voted to go bowling! Super fun and got everyone out of the house more than just a dinner.

Day 9, 8 mile run with my running group. I really love this group. They are so organized and no-one run alone! They are such a friendly group and have something for all types of exercisers! Typically Saturdays start, 6:15a-stretch, 6:30a - run 6-8 miles, 8am - walking group, 9am- cyclers, 10a - swimmers. I opted for the stretch and run. After you are done with your workout, we meet at the organizers house for protien shakes (I got mine dairy-free), raisin toast, and coffee. I got an add-on on my tatoo that day and it is finaly done!

Day 10, deep clean the house! that is a workout in its self! 4 kids and a 5th (my hubby) the house gets messy fast! We opted for an early dinner and an evening family bike ride and walk! I love days like this, where I can spend time with my family!

Day 11, Rain again no biking today to work. However, as I'm typing this, the sun is shining and no clouds in the sky! Figures! Anyway, I am going to go running tonight and hopefully get some hill work in!
