Now Here's A NSV I Hadn't Even Considered!

Saturday, March 22, 2014

I knew I'd need to buy new clothes when I finally reached my goal weight but I hadn't even considered I'd need to have my rings resized.

This one is my 10th anniversary ring, which fit me snugly for the past 15 years.

This one is my 25th anniverary ring, that my DH just got me last November. They sized it for me that day!

This one is my wedding ring, which I JUST got back from having resized a few weeks ago.

The funny thing is I haven't really dropped much in weigh so far this year. I reached goal early December and kind of relaxed a bit. I've been staying within a few pounds of my goal weight but two weeks ago I decided it was time to get back on track with my fine tuning. I cranked up my ST by increasing weights and reps. I added a new cardio routine that is very challenging and I have gotten back in to running, after taking a 4 month break for the winter months. My diet hasn't really changed much at all. The scale is pretty much the same but the inches still keep coming off! Isn't muscle a wonderful thing!?

One of the ways I can always tell I'm losing "inflammation" is when my rings, which have been wedged on my finger for nearly 30 years, feel loose! The other day I did something with my hand and my rings flew off! I know what you mean about it being both a good and bad NSV! Don't lose them!! SO proud of you!

This is great to hear. I'm very near my goal weight, but the body still doesn't look the way it should in parts. I've ramped up the poundage on my ST and added more protein (a struggle) hoping to get a body composition change. From your post here it seems like that could still be possible. Keep on runnin'!
