Trouble with Late Night Snacking

For some reason, I cannot stop stacking at night. Before starting my Spark Healthy Living Plan, I spent years eating ice cream, sugary cereal, candy bars, buttery popcorn, and other unhealthy snacks right before bedtime. I have been eating healthier since January 1st but I still feel hungry and think that I need to eat 1 or 2 snacks every night before I go to bed. I am trying to eat healthy snacks, like a prune or apple, but understand that you are not supposed to eat right before you go to bed. I have also been frustrated with my weight loss progress, I thought that I would have lost more weight by now. I changed my eating habits, am staying within my calorie limits, and am meeting my exercise goals, so why am I not losing more than 1/2 to 1 pound a week? I have not tried a Spark Coach yet, so that might be my next logical step. If anyone has any tips for me, they would be greatly appreciated.     I plan a snack every night (usuallly greek yogurt) but I don't always need it.
    I can't eat too close to bedtime or it causes heartburn...and what about a cup of hot chicken or beef bouillon? That always makes me feel like I've had something special. You can put something in it like egg whites or?

    I eat the bulk of my calories between 4PM and bed time. I'm not much of a breakfast person, but I still eat something small, and my dinners are usually around 400 calories with snacking between then and bed time if I'm still hungry. And I've had no trouble with my weight loss!

    As for tips to help you... I don't know what to say, but maybe you could try changing up your routine? Try different exercises, different foods, etc. If all else fails I would see a registered dietitian if you're still having problems.

    I would concentrate more on the carbs/calories that the time you eat them. After you are getting the right calories/carbs. I think the eating after 8p at night is a 50/50 belief by the experts. Drink water 1/2 hour before you have your snack to see if you still need the snack.
