I am totally amazed at how quickly my body is responding to the challenges I'm throwing at it! Today was a day full of achievements.

First, I bit the bullet and tackled the weather for my run. I was only scheduled to do 3 miles but I was feeling so good, I decided to do five. Just nine days ago I tackled and nailed my first non stop five mile run of the season, after only being back at it for a week. I took a four month break and focused on ST and flexibility instead. Nine days ago I finished the fiver in 68 minutes. I was thrilled with that. Last Friday I did a series of 3 one milers for speed. Today I used that training to focus on my fiver. And I dropped a FULL FIVE MINUTES off my time! Best ever!!!

Second, I came back feeling so stoked, I decided to go to the ZUU class at the gym. (Google it) I went last week and sucked at it. It's TOUGH! We did 3 rounds and I was dying! I barely made it through and felt the pains for two days afterwards. Today we did five sets and I ROCKED IT! I kept up with the instructor!!

Our bodies are AMAZING things! If we can get past our minds, who knows what we're capable of!
