HM training notes - week 9

This week I have accomplished 3 great training runs.
Tuesday: 3 miles in 27:29 with a 9:10 pace
Wednesday trail run: 6.21 miles in 1:05:11 with a 10:30 pace
Thursday: 3.06 miles in 28:36 with a 9:21 pace
Wednesday was my favorite - I love running up into the hills (actually, it's the running down the hills that I like the best, but to run down - I must first run up...) I guess that's true with most of life - in order to experience the fun stuff, we have to suck-it up and put in some hard effort first. Although, Wednesday was scheduled to be a 5 mile run, I decided to run the 10k (6.2 miles) that I missed from last weekend.
One dilemma that I've been working through on my recent runs has been "data"... Turns out that my spotify app (that I pay premium membership for just so I can listen to music offline while running) has turned into a data eating machine! After going over my monthly data limit, I started researching what was eating my data - and discovered the culprit was Spotify (even though I was playing it in offline mode!!!) Turns out, I'm not the only one getting screwed from Spotify. For now, I'm turning my phone's data completely off when listening to Spotify - if that doesn't work, I may cancel my subscription. Grrrr.... listening to music is one of my main joys of running... Oh well, I'll figure something out.
Today is the kid's last day of school for two weeks!!!! We're very busy this weekend, so I probably won't get in my 10 mile scheduled run, but I'm not stressed. I'll have all kinds of time to get in runs while the kids are out of school. It's sooooo nice now that my oldest can watch her younger siblings while I go out for a bit. I'm loving the new freedom!
