Yay God!

Today I was able to pull my size 14 shorts up easily, button them, and get the zipper half way up!!! When I first tried them a week or two ago, I had to struggle to get them up and they were about 6 inches from closing.

God does amazing things with a willing heart.

Saw the movie "God's Not Dead" last night. As a Christian, I rate it an A. It would be an A+ because they did an exceptional job with one particular scene where Dean Cain's character is talking to his mother, but it got points off in my opinion because there were instances where they could have shown how God heals the sick and did not do so. I don't blame them for not showing it, in this day and age of super effects, it might have cast an "unbelievable" quality for non Christians. Still, it felt incomplete to me in this area.

Okay, here's an amendment to my comments on Nugo Slim bars. They taste great! They are low in carbohydrates and sugar and high in protein. However, you really have to read the label--some are non-gmo and some are NOT. Unfortunately, I found that out after I purchased them. The peanut butter bars I bought are non-gmo while the raspberry bars are not.

Also, I've been eating Stoneyfield Greek Organic yogurt and loving it. I saw two different flavors in the natural store I went to yesterday so I bought one of each. The containers are smaller than the flavors I've been buying. I looked at them this morning: these are "blended" flavors, and 6oz instead of the 5.3 oz I've been buying. Although they are fat free, they are slightly higher in calories, and MUCH higher in carbs. Oh well.

You know what I love about God? He always gives us a "do over". As Anne of Green Gables says "every day is fresh with no mistakes in it yet". Or, as God says, "His mercies are new every morning..."

You are sounding well, Thank you for sharing.
We all need to remember to read each label every time. We never know when a brand is going to change its recipe.. Sometimes, maybe, because an ingredient source changes its product label.

The first two numbers I look at on nutrition labels are #of calories per serving and the Serving Size. Then I usually put what ever back because I don' t think I want to spend that many calories for that small a serving.

Have you heard anything about the new movie "Noah" that is supposed to be premiering in April? I will watch for "God's Not Dead" to appear in my area. Probably by the time I find out it is in town it will have already left town. I don't manage to stay very high on the news about town feed.

Oops, got carried away. Take care. Hugs, Audra
