I've squatted down and Can't Get Up!

Oh my! I never saw this coming and I'm going to Make It Right As Soon As I Can...
Visiting my 4-year-old granddaughter means I'm frequently squatting down to talk face-to-face with her. Unfortunately, when there's nothing nearby to hold onto to help me stand up, I'm having a devil of a time doing it on my own. Ugh. Embarrassing. At age 62 I should be able to do better. After all, 60 is the new 40, right? So...I think the prescription for this premature affliction is to CONTINUE WITH MY SPARKPEOPLE PLAN! Such a novel idea ... Exercise and eat a healthy diet will lead to weight loss (less of me to try to make stand up) and stronger leg muscles.
To the SparkPeople community, I say STAY THE COURSE AND MEET YOUR GOALS, one small step at a time...day by day.
