Motivational Devotional/Prayer for Today

Tuesday, May 20, 2014

This may be cheating on the blog post a little, but I read a lot daily to keep my mind focused on my goals. I want to share something I read that was very motivational for me today. All credits are given to the author at the bottom of this post. I will overcome overeating and reform both my mind and my body!

You will also declare a thing, and it will be established for you; so light will shine on your ways. —JOB 22:28 Since the spirit realm is the causal realm, expect that whatever you are praying will manifest on this side of glory because it has already been sealed in the spirit realm. God has already released every possibility before the foundation of the world. Do not be counterproductive in your declarations by decreeing one thing and confessing the other. Be consistent in knowing that when you commit to the releasing of those things that pertain to your life, God is saying that whatsoever (positive or negative, faith or unbelief) you loose is loosed, and whatsoever you bind is bound. Remember, as soon as a declaration leaves your mouth, it has already happened.

Prayer: Father, I decree and declare that my mouth is the pen of a ready writer. I proclaim Your Word and not my own will. I press past the boundary lines the enemy has drawn, and I take every area that has been purposed for me. The enemy is defeated, and his efforts to derail my destiny will not prosper. I decree and declare that the plans of God will prevail in my life. In Jesus’s name, amen.
