New scale, and down 2 pds :)

Wednesday, May 21, 2014

Bought a new scale, as the only one we have had for over a decade is the Wii fit board. Checked them both against each other and the are within .1 pd of each other, so that is
a relief!

Had a great ride on JR yesterday, he started out a little bit rearing to go, though after trotting some hills in 81 degrees, he decided he didn't want to be so fresh. Only rode about 4 miles, taking it easy as he had put in a longer work out on Sunday and Saturday. ( about 23 miles ) & I only had an hour to ride.

Love having my trailer back, I call it my silver wings emoticon takes me to a little bit of heaven on earth emoticon

My goals for the next 12 months are to drop 2 pounds (on average) per week. Started this on Mother's day at 237.7 pds, and the first week, met this goal going down to 235, and then it bumped up to 236 during that next week and I was discouraged. Now, Saturday is to be my way in day, though since the new scale needed trying out I tenderly, and with one eye open..tip toed onto the new scale-wondering with baited breath if she would be my friend or foe...and the good news is *friend*. Just to be sure, I hustled into the living room and turned the Wii on to check if my weight had gone down per my old trusty friend, the Wii board, and wahhhlaaa, what do you know, the two friends stood in total agreement emoticon emoticon Yes! I had gone down 2.2 pounds emoticon emoticon So, that brings my two week total to almost 5 pounds emoticon In celebration, I bought a new shirt and summer shorts and am now heading out the the beach with our 6 year old son to play on the beach for a little while emoticon
