I have learned a very valuable lesson this week. I have learned that I need to exercise to increase my fitness rather than to lose weight. If I workout to lose weight and I don't lose weight, I would get discouraged and want to stop exercising. But, if I workout to gain strength and stamina, it doesn't matter what the scale says, I am not going to lose my motivation to exercise. emoticon

Exercise is very important. But measuring, calculating and tracking every calorie is FAR more important to weight loss.
