Still keeping it under or at 1500 calories

Mindful eating. How many times I have heard that buzz word and it seemed to buzz right by me without me really thinking about it. Hmmm.
Now that I am purposeful in my counting calories, I cannot believe how simple it is, and how bad I was at it before. Starting day with a light snack and cup of green tea is just enough to quiet the hunger in the early am, then when I have time I cook some eggs & have water and take that time to already think ahead to lunch. A friend gave me a neat cooler bag for foster parent appreciation month & it is proving very handy in my life, Throwing a V8 in there with some fruit and a book and I am ready to hit the road. I used the V8 and the fruit today to fight off some major urges while having a stress ful day. And I make sure to save about 200 calories banked at the end of the day in case it is a stressful day and I can have a sip of mint tea or fruit.
So far it is working, I think that each week that it continues to work I will feel myself getting more and more excited. No more energy slumps in my day...just feel like I'm burning clean fuel with all the water, fruit and veggies I'm taking in now. AND I LOVE roasted veggies, and they are so low in calories
