*What challenges did you face in the Spring Challenge?
This is only my 2nd challenge. The Winter challenge went very well. I even managed to lose weight over the holidays! However, I did face some challenges this time.
I can’t seem to stick with an exercise program for any length of time. I have managed to work out almost every day. I find cool sounding new workout plans. And, I like to plan my workouts in advance. Then, after a few days, I get bored of the new plan or it proves too hard. So, I keep falling back into a “Walk Away the Pounds” rut. Its not really a bad rut, though! I LOVE Leslie Sansone!! I just wonder if I can really lose those last 5 pounds & firm up by just walking. I figure as long as I can keep up with the daily discipline of exercise, the results will follow.
Another challenge I faced was a rebellious teenage daughter. I could have just thrown in the towel, especially when my stomach started acting up from all the stress. But, I choose to do my best to stick it out! I found that exercise really helped diffuse the stress. And when I ate healthy, I felt more in control. This time, when my stomach acted up, I found the healthier foods made the stress less intense.
I’m looking forward to the Summer Challenge. I’m sure I will have some challenges that come up this time, but with the awesome support of the Clover Leaf team, I’m sure I will find a way to overcome them!
