Pondering how well I bounce...

Tuesday, May 27, 2014

A forum conversation mentioned that rollerskating burns a ton of calories. I used to love skating but haven't tried it in at least 15 years. Just for kicks, I checked the fitness tracker. SP estimates that, for me, 45 minutes of skating would burn 740 calories. I may need to check Target for skates and give it a shot. I may end up black and blue and in need of oxygen, but it could also be a lot of fun. Definitely something to consider...

Sounds like a good idea. However the last time I went roller skating, I fell not once but twice and really messed up a knee. Not saying that that would happen to you. Just be really careful. I would like to try it again, but I don't want to land on my knees again.
Have fun with it and take it slow. Make sure you have good balance on them and make absolutely sure that they don't have the extra toe flap that will come loose and go under the front wheels and make you fall down.
Great idea on skating. emoticon emoticon
