New goals to go with my new buddy...

I set out in search of a goal buddy yesterday and found someone great! We've started emailing and the best thing is that we both have such similar goals. We're in the same range at least in weight, though she's got the lead on me by 20+ lbs and we both have goals from August to December this year.
So I set 2 goals. The first is to be 259.9 or less by August 16th in time for my brothers wedding. I asked if they would kindly postpone their wedding to give me time to lose more weight but they said no :( lol. With wheat almost completely eliminated from my diet, save for the odd weekend meal, and my ongoing fight to control my thyroid, I'm hopeful that I can meet that goal. I'm seeing progress on the scale now with a horrible thyroid treatment so I'm excited to get something new on Monday.
The second goal is for our trip to Disneyland in November. I'd like to be under 240 for that. I was around 250 last year when we went and the plane seats were less than comfortable, there were a few rides I had to get off of (horribly embarrassing for myself and Amanda), and I had a hard time with all the walking. I'd really like to see a big difference this year.
It's funny, I hardly notice wheat anymore. When I do eat it now, it's quite deliberate. Most of my meals just are wheat free, without even trying anymore. It really has become a habit and when I eat it now, I notice! My guts feel sooooo swollen and my digestive system yells at me for the next day or so.
Looking forward to seeing big changes.
