BLC25 reflection, NSVs, Plan for BLC break

I wish I could say that I was successful in my weight loss this round, unfortunately that is not true. I may not have lost a lot of weight but I stayed committed to BLC and participated. If I had not been in BLC I would have gained weight. BLC has been the best decision I ever made to start my healthy lifestyle change. Out of all the rounds I have competed in I have had great successes and not so great successes.
I have learned many things about eating healthy, exercise and challenging myself. I was on a new team this round and was welcomed and supported from the start. That is one of the best things about BLC. Everyone is supportive and willing to give advice.
Yesterday I had a wonderful NSV. I was out and ran into a woman I work with. She was waiting to get a massage and I was waiting to schedule one for the next day. She asked if I had eaten and would I like to join her for a cheese steak. I thought about it but didn't answer right away. I was thinking about how good the chicken one I get is and the fries. Then I remember the meal I had planned to cook after my errands. I had declined the offer and instead went home and made my dinner of chicken and salad with a baked potato. That has been one problem this round is making healthy meal choices.
I have noticed when I eat unhealthy how tired and lazy I feel. When I eat a good meal I feel so much better and more satisfied. That is one of the biggest accomplishments that I made this round.
My plan for the break between BLC25 & BLC26 is to track all my food and fitness minutes. Make it to at least 10,000 steps each day. I have my daughter's wedding in Oct. and would like to get below 200 lbs before the wedding. I will make meal plans and stick to them. I am also going to be moving possibly during the break or during BLC26 so I need to relax and not worry about being on my own and divorced. Those are things that tend to cause me stress and weight gain. Getting my life on track will help with my healthy lifestyle. Prepare my lunches for the work week ahead of time so I have no excuses for not eating healthy.
