Upper body cardio suggestions???

I was put into a cam boot for the next 6 -8 weeks and am looking for ideas for types of cardio that I can do. I'm a little worried that even with watching my diet i may put on weight because I am going from 6- 8 miles of walking a day (this is just at work!) down to almost no activity.
Its only been 5 days so far and I'm already starting to feel flabby :( I did manage to get some kayaking in but that is not something I cant do on a daily basis...maybe once a week if I am lucky.
HELP!!!!!!

    I like to do upper cuts, cross punches and hooks when I can't do lower body cardio. Simply sit or strand in place and do 30 - 60 seconds each of cross punches, hooks and upper cuts and then repeat the process, resting 5 -10 seconds between your sets of the 3 exercises. Keep it up for 20 minutes or until you are breathless. It works, have had to do it when my hip and/or lower back was out and I couldn't do anything with my lower body.

    Also, do lots of upper body ST with lighter weights and more repetitions until you are breathless.
