Blast from the past

4 years ago, my marriage almost ended. We finally worked things out & have been fine since, or so I thought. Last week, seemingly out of the blue, the situation re-surfaced...at least that was the first I'd seen of it.

I'm hurt. I'm lost. All of those feelings I thought I had a handle on came rushing back. I just don't know what to do...

    Hang in there! I know it hurts. We never know why things happen while they're happening but hurt can turn out for better later on. I was so hurt years ago, I fell into a depression. I finally made it through and today, I am glad I went through that hurt. It has made me a better and more insightful person. Very hard lessons learned but I'm still here and life goes on! I pray you will find comfort and courage through your hurt.

    You said you got through it before, and you will again. Just try to focus on the now. What is going on right now. Do not let your mind travel to the past, or future, this will only overwhelm you in thought. Stick to the basic needs of the day, go for walks, this will help you to work things out in your mind, and help with the emotions. I always go walk it out when I am feeling to much inside. It really helps, even if it is only for 10 minutes, it will help. If you need to let it all out and need a friend, email me. I will listen. emoticon
