Low key Saturday

Saturday, July 26, 2014

After having a really rough night at work last night, including crazy patients, being understaffed and too much other crazy stuff happen that I can't even mention, I'm happy to be able to relax today. I don't have to go back to work until next Sunday. I really like making my own schedule!!

My hubby had to work at 3 am today. I felt bad for him so I thought I would help him out by cutting the grass. He was gonna do it last night, but I didn't want him to be too tired to get up for work. Usually this is his domain and he really doesn't like when I do it. We live on a corner on an extra large lot and I forgot just how much I really don't like to cut the grass!! I don't mind doing the front but in the back I have to go around the pool and move the trampoline, it's just a pain. I think next time I'll leave it to him, but at least I got some exercise out of it!!

My mom took my daughter shopping for her new backpack and to lunch. She does that every year with all the grandchildren. It's nice that she takes the time to do that as well as that gives me one less thing to have to buy for the kids.

I don't think we will have a lot going on the rest of the day. My hubby will be tired when he gets home so I don't think we will be going out. I don't mind, I'm sure we can find plenty to do here. My son still has his cast on, so I won't be swimming. I feel bad going in the pool when he can't.

I hope you all are enjoying your Saturday. Thanks for reading :)
