Taking advantage of the day

Tuesday, August 05, 2014

I started today out with plans to take my son to his physical therapy. Therapy got cancelled so it worked out to my advantage.

I dropped my daughter off at band camp, I don't have to pick her up til 4 pm. I was able to come home, eat, get my workout in early, two loads of laundry (so far!) and was able to make some phone calls too. All this before noon! On a "normal" day, this wouldn't have happened. For those of you who don't know, I'm so not a morning person. I love my sleep and anything before 10 am is extremely early. But since I had to be up anyway, I took full advantage.

My son and I are just gonna hang out at the house today. It can't decide if it's going to rain or not. It's humid and just kinda blah outside. He's still limited with activities since he still has his cast on. I'm sure we'll figure out something to do.

I hope all of you are having a great day. Thanks for reading :)

Yay bonus time! I like having bonus times like that to get everything done earlier or at all since sometimes things get put off due to no time.

Spending one on one time with your son sounds like a day well spent to me. Sneaking in laundry is an added bonus. However you decided to spend your day I hope its peaceful and relaxing.
