Today started off pretty good!!

Thursday, August 28, 2014

Yay, the scale is still moving in the right direction!! I lost 2 lbs this week!! I'm so happy about this. Definitely a good start to the day. emoticon

This week is still busy with me going back to school and clinical. The kids don't go back til next week and I've been busy running them around to different appointments and practice. Today is the first day that I'm at home for more than an hour at a time. I've even managed to throw some pepper steak in the crock pot, dinner done!!

My allergies have been kicking my butt this week too. I'm miserable mostly because of the headache that I have. I haven't been able to work out because I can't breathe!! I'm focusing on my nutrition to help out. I'm hoping to work out by the weekend.

I am noticing that I have really gotten a lot better about my portion sizes, which seems to be helping. Except for the fresh tomatoes that my neighbor brought over, I'm eating the grape tomatoes like candy!! I know that's not a bad thing, I love them!!

I'm taking my son school shopping later. I've been so busy, and he still isn't able to walk for a really long time, but each day he's getting better. I will take my daughter shopping over the weekend, she finally has some time off from practice!! I refuse to take both of them together, it gets really bad. Besides it give me a chance to spend time with each of them separately.

I hope you are all having a great day and are looking forward to the holiday weekend.

Thanks for reading emoticon

I'm glad that you are able to take each child separately. At that age alone time with mom is terribly important, even though they won't always let on. Glad that your son is progressing, That's been a long hard recovery for a teenage boy to endure.
Take care of yourself, cut you some slack! emoticon

CONGRATULATIONS on your loss. I don't blame you for taking some time off of working out, no one has a good workout when they are sick and can't breathe. I don't know if you've been tracking all your steps but you might find that you're getting a workout just with all the running around that you've been doing. I don't blame you at all for wanting to separate the kids school shopping. I did that with my oldest children ( boy & girl) It gives each of them your undivided attention and saves you from an unwanted migraine.

Take some Allegra or your anti-allergen of choice, read a book, get some rest, and enjoy your long weekend.

    emoticon on the weight lost!

Allergies are awful! I hope you find some relief soon. Taking your kids separately can be a good thing all around then. All kids need one-on-one time with their parents no matter how old they are, it lets them be the center of attention for a short burst and really realize how loved they are (even though you show them all the time).
